Sometimes you just gotta give it up for LL. Yeah he hasn't made the most memorable albums in the past 15 years but he is still making music. He gave us Radio, Bigger And Deffer, Walking With A Panther (my fav), Mama Said Knock You Out, 14 Shots To The Dome and Mr. Smith to name a few. Since them he's sprinkled us with some vintage LL, like "Ill Bomb."
LL, at age 41, still has it. He doesn't flex it like he can but if push came to shove LL could definitely retire a rapper of choice should he feel inclined to. While I can't validate whether or not this is a real album or that LL will even see a dime on it, I can say they are high quality (remastered) tracks of some of his greatest cuts. Even though we all could do without a handful (or even more) of some of them, the great tracks certainly overpower the weak ones. Download this jawn and remember just how vicious LL Cool J was on the mic. Hey Rick Rubin if you're reading this why not hit up James Todd Smith and do another album together? Go out on the right note. --Philaflava

DJ Mister Cee “The Best Of Redman”
.jpg)
Once I got my hands on the Method Man mix, I discovered there was one for The Funk Doctor Spock. Sold. Again with this Mister Cee mix, nothing too fancy, nothing too special, one good freestyle, several remixes and one live track. But the real catch on this disc are the two unreleased tracks. Ten years later (or so), I believe this is the only place you can find them.

14 Redman-Rockafella (Remix)
15 Redman-Can't Wait (Original & Remix)
16 Redman-We Run N.Y. feat. Hurricane G
17 Redman-I Get Down Like That
18 Redman-Where Am I
19 Biggie Smalls-The Points feat. Coolio, Big Mike, Doodlebug, Buckshot & Redman
20 Redman & Method Man-How High
21 Redman & Method Man-Freestyle (Live On Angie Martinez's Radio Show, Hot 97, NY)

23 Boyz II Men-Vibin' (Remix) feat. Erick Sermon, Keith Murray, Redman & 2 To Da Head
24 Aaron Hall-Curiousity (Remix) feat. Redman
My original cover was in a sorry state, so I scanned it in, cleaned it up and threw in all new type exactly the same as the original. Coming soon will be “The Best Of The Notorious B.I.G.” and “The Best Of Mobb Deep” in the series.

Hot 97 Radio Freestyles Pt.3 (1996)
-vls-1996-side_a.jpg)
-vls-1996-side_b.jpg)
Here's volume 4 of the Hot 97 Freestyle AllStars vinyl series. This is probably the release with the least rare freestyles since most of the ones included were featured on Funkmaster Flex "60 Minutes of Funk Vol.1". But for example, you get the full session of the Redman & Keith Murray freestyle which is 15 min. long while it was cut short to 4 min. in the Funk Flex mixtape. The other exclusive freestyles are from Da Bush Babees, Jay-Z, and Krs-One.
A1. Redman & Keith Murray - Freestyle
B1. Da Bush Babees - Freestyle
B2. Krs-One - Freestyle
B3. Jay-Z - Freestyle
B4. Fugees - Freestyle
B5. Erick Sermon - Freestyle
B6. Redman & Method Man - Freestyle
B7. Busta Rhymes - Freestyle
B8. Q-Tip - Freestyle

Dollar Bin Gem Pieces 2

I just think the intro is hilarious, check out the preview below. But anyway, Keith Murray continues to rip it along side Smif N Wessun and Busta Rhymes on the hook. "Pay Your Dues" is a great over looked promo you should have in your system.
The second one here, that I also scrounged out of a store for a buck, is a classic 1996 indie piece.
I can't tell you how ill "Slide We Fly" was to me when it first dropped. Kut Masta Kurt on productions and the always underrated Noggin' Nodders dropping an ill verse alongside everyone's favorite mental patient, Kool Keith."Wanna Be A Star" was produced by the now famous Stones Throw label founder, Peanut Butter Wolf.
So,as a digger since forever,I encourage you to dig through them dollar crates before you go spending retarded amounts of money on a song or two. Unless you just got it like that.
