Roughneck Soldiers - Kill Or Be Killed b/w Freestyle Thing
As far as I know, this is the only record released by this crew. Mid 90's street corner type of flows over rugged, basement sounding beats. Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez' production makes this record well worth having in your crate(or iPod). For "Kill or be Killed", he used Shirley Bassey's version of "Light My Fire" to great effect. The horns are powerful, the filtering is warm, and the drums are dirty.
Released in 1995 on Phat Wax Records

A2 Kill Or Be Killed(instrumental)
A3 Kill Or Be Killed(radio)

That's my kind of hip-hop!! Unfortunately a lot of groups like them dropped one classic track and that was it...
