Thanks again, Verge.
ReplyDeleteI missed a crucial "Soul Pride" sample.
KGB - Letters Of Three (1991)
http://www.divshare.com/download/9823673-9d4
KGB was an early 90s Toronto crew, and "Letters Of Three" can be found on the "Cold Front Compilation". I have no producer info.
There's also a N.E. Hip Hop Massive track from '93 that features a "Soul Pride" sample, but it's nowhere near as crucial as the KGB track.
I've been hitting my late 80s/early 90s collection pretty hard for Jungle Groove samples, and the KGB track is one of several that I wish I'd have included on previous volumes, but hey, it would be impossible to catch every single James Brown sample. Make sure to check the old volumes at Scratch Reaction from time to time, as I'll be doing updates for samples that I overlooked. I'm not gonna rework the compilations - I'll just post individual divshare links.
Peace
Can you do a re-up please. Track 6 on Vol. 3 is broken and Track 12 is broken in Vol. 4.
ReplyDeleteThanks in advance.
Pete - I'll check it out. This is a very common issue with mediafire. I have a love/hate relationship with their service.
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, here are both of the missing tracks:
